To create one, POST https://inspect.hookdeck.com/ (for example: curl -X POST https://inspect.hookdeck.com/). The JSON reply has ingest_url, where to send webhooks, and requests_url: GET it to wait for the next request. It waits up to 25 seconds and returns the request as JSON.

What are Airwallex webhooks?
Airwallex is a global business account and payments platform for multi-currency accounts, FX, payouts, and cards. Its webhooks tell your app as payments, refunds, disputes, conversions, and payouts change.
Testing them usually means a sandbox account, allowlisting webhook IPs, and making test payments. This page skips all of that: a live URL plus real sample payloads for every common event.
How do Airwallex webhooks work?
- Delivered as HTTPS POST requests with a JSON body — name holds the event: payment_intent.succeeded, refund.settled...
- Signed with HMAC-SHA256 — x-signature is the hex digest of x-timestamp followed by the raw body, keyed with your secret.
- Respond 200 right away — any other status fails. Airwallex retries with exponential backoff for about three days.
- Events can repeat and arrive out of order — dedupe on id, sort by created_at. Each subscription is pinned to an API version.
