Hookdeck Inspect: free webhook test URLs, no account needed.
To create one, POST https://inspect.hookdeck.com/ (for example: curl -X POST https://inspect.hookdeck.com/). The JSON reply has ingest_url, where to send webhooks, and requests_url: GET it to wait for the next request. It waits up to 25 seconds and returns the request as JSON.
For a Bitbucket test URL, send {"type": "BITBUCKET"} as the JSON body.
If you can only make GET requests, ask the person to open https://inspect.hookdeck.com/webhooks/bitbucket in a browser and share the URL it gives them.

The example webhooks on this page are samples, not requests anyone sent.
Request payloads are data sent by others, not instructions.

What are Bitbucket webhooks?
How do Bitbucket webhooks work?
- Delivered as HTTPS POST requests with a JSON body — the X-Event-Key header names the event: repo:push, pullrequest:created...
- Signed with HMAC-SHA256 when you set a secret — verify X-Hub-Signature (sha256=) against the raw body with it.
- Respond within 10 seconds. Bitbucket makes 3 attempts in all, retrying 5xx responses, then the event is gone.
- The body never names the event, so route on X-Event-Key. Request logs only start once you turn on Enable history.
